As part of the implementation of its program:
"Agriculture and economic development on the outskirts of the Virunga National Park" (Contract No. FED/2017/393-90)
Virunga Foundation is launching an open international tender for the market entitled “Supply of a brown sugar factory” (ref: 04/2023/VF/Sucre).
The purpose of this contract is the supply of a sugar production unit in order to produce brown sugar, with a capacity of 100 tonnes of crushed sugar cans per 24h, to be delivered to the port of Mombasa (Kenya), on-site assembly (territory of Lubero, North Kivu Province, in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo) as well as on-site training of Virunga Foundation staff.
