Job Description (Roles and Responsibilities)
Main purpose of job:
Delivering HR related services to staff based in Kinshasa and Goma while ensuring the compliance with the FCDO regulations and the local labour law. Prepare the payroll files for a timely and accurate payment of salaries. Ensure that the Embassy meets its obligations toward the pension contributions payment and declaration, and all CNSS processes. Liaise with the HLA on legal cases and queries. Work as the point of contact for medical services delivered to staff and participate to the medical contract tendering process. Support internal and external recruitment.
Roles and responsibilities:
Supported by the People Services Manager and Head of the People & Platform team, the HR Officer leads on the following:
Resources managed (staff and expenditure): L&D, Medical and CBS Salaries Budgets Monitoring
The successful candidate should be an excellent communicator with great influencing skills able to build exceptional working relationships across all levels, confident in challenging unacceptable HR matters and/or behaviour.
