Position: Senior Project Manager, Tryp-Elim (HAT Elimination)
Location: Kinshasa
Funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Tryp-Elim project seeks to support the efforts of the Ministry of Health (MoH) in the elimination of Human African Trypanosomiasis (HAT) in Kwilu and Kwango Provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. PATH is member of the Tryp-Elim consortium with the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) of Antwerp, and the Program Nationale de Lutte Contre le Trypanosomiasis Humaine Africaine (PNLTHA).
In order to ensure strong coordination with PNLTHA and operational excellence, PATH is seeking an experienced Project Manager to effectively lead and manage the project through various aspects of PATH’s Project Lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful individuals in this role have high standards of integrity and an ability to take a holistic view of the HAT elimination project and seek opportunities that improve a project’s efficiency and outcome. With strong time management skills, they have the ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities, and work under strict deadlines. They take responsibility for project success and demonstrate selfinitiative to solve problems.
The individual must have a wiliness to travel to Bandundu up [30 %] percent per year with occasional international travel and have legal authorization to work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This position reports to Deputy Director of the DRC Country Program and is a member of the International Development division.

Applicants considered for this position are to be DRC nationals. This position is based in Kinshasa, Candidates outside of Kinshasa, will be responsible for their relocation to Kinshasa.
