We seek to recruit the following qualified and experienced individual mentioned below:
Position: IT Assistant
Location: Kinshasa
Specific responsibilities and duties include:
- Ensure that all workstations and laptops are properly configured and maintained
- Ensure that all users have a basic level of monitoring virus and security alerts notifications and implement protection procedures.
- Make users more aware about phishing emails
- Adhere to PATH computer communication, hardware, and software standards.
- Support the computer needs of travelers.
- Provide general assistance to DRC IT officer.
- Manage and maintain office equipment and inventory, backup systems.
- Support conferences, videoconferencing, and telephone systems.
- Oversee design and printing of materials.
- Act as Back-up to the IT officer.
- Support training sessions, including the preparation and operation of equipment.
- Assist in developing analysis and database applications and perform data entry.
Required Skills
- Proficient in installing and maintaining Windows Windows 7/ 8 / 10
- Proficient in developing and implementing local area network (LAN), Wireless LAN and Virtuals LAN Proficient in MS Office 2013 / 2016 / Office 365 software
- Proficient in basic office equipment, such as Multifunction printers, copiers, and IP phones/Soft Phones Smartphone Basic support
- Proficient in web technologies (Php, HTML, SQL).
- Fluent French , English and DRC local languages
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25% annually within DRC
Required Experience
- A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related degree
- A minimum of three years' experience in a similar position; may be an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Applicants considered for this position are to be DRC nationals. This position is based in Kinshasa. Candidates outside of Kinshasa will be responsible for their relocation.
